Private Lessons
Personalize your mountain experience with either an individual or group private lesson. These lessons are designed to offer individually tailored instruction for all ability levels and ages. The personal attention you’ll receive with a one-on-one private lesson is one of the quickest ways to improve your technique. We have private lessons for all age groups and ability levels, including skiing, snowboarding, telemarking, moguls, freestyle, trees and racing.
In addition, we offer Private Group Lessons which allow you to organize your own group of friends or family members of similar ability levels. Tell us what you and your group want to focus on and we will select an instructor suited to your needs.
Private lessons meet daily at Snowshed Lodge for all ages and ability levels. Private Lessons are available from mid-November through mid-April. The program includes a lesson only, lift ticket and rental equipment including a snow sports helmet is additional. Add a limited learning area ticket and rentals for first timer skiers / riders for an additional $40 to prices below.
Private Lesson Details
- Lessons are one, two, three or six hours long
- Six hour lessons include lunch and the use of a locker in our seasonal locker room
- Please arrive early for lesson
- Killington Resort requires all Snow Sports School participants ages 17 and under to wear a snow sports helmet while in a lesson. Helmets are included at no charge as part of our equipment rental package for lesson participants in this age group.

PRIVATE LESSON TIMES
- One hour lesson is offered daily on the hour from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
- Two hour lesson is offered daily on the hour from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
- Three hour lesson is offered twice daily at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
- Six hour lesson is offered daily 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Our 1-hour private group lessons are for a maximum of two people. 2-hour, 3-hour and 6-hour private group lessons are for groups of 2-5 people.
