Friendly Penguin Day Care, Ages 12 weeks-12 years
The Friendly Penguin Day Care provides indoor and optional outdoor activities, offering state-licensed and fully equipped facilities with age appropriate toys and games. Throughout the day, children can explore and play in a nurturing environment that promotes creativity, physical, emotional and intellectual development. Time is provided each day for arts and crafts, painting, stories and songs. The program includes snacks and a nutritious lunch with the full day option.
Parents should provide a change of clothing, diapers, wipes, and formula and/or food if special dietary needs exist. Parents are encouraged to check in at any time through the receptionist. All childcare rooms have a caregiver certified in infant and toddler C.P.R.
Friendly Penguin Daycare and First Tracks Slide & Play details
- Minimum age is 12 weeks-12 years old
- First Tracks Slide & Play is a 1-hour lesson, add-on option to the daycare program
- For infants, please supply jarred food, formula and bottles
- The Penguin Playground is a peanut free environment. Many chocolate products contain peanut oils; therefore NO peanuts or chocolate products are permitted in the center.
- Please supply plenty of disposable diapers and wipes for any child who is not toilet trained
- Bring appropriate outdoor playwear for ages one and above
- Shoes must be worn inside the center - no slippers or sandals
- Label all belongings
- If your child will be arriving late, please call us at 802-422-6222 by 9:00 a.m.
- Killington Daycare staff will NOT administer medications of any kind
- Inform staff and supervisor of any allergies your child might have
- Killington will supply all table food, whole milk, diluted juice, sleeping crib needs and toys / games

First Tracks Slide & Play, ages 2-4
First Tracks Slide & Play is a 1 hour add-on option to Friendly Penguin Day Care with on-snow activities designed to introduce children to skiing or snowboarding. Plus, at Killington, our First Tracks Slide & Play is a MAX 3 program, guaranteeing a maximum of three students per instructor for every class! Helmets and equipment rentals are included with First Tracks Slide & Play.
Killington Resort requires all Snow Sports School participants ages 17 and under to wear a snow sports helmet while in a lesson. Helmets are included at no charge as part of our equipment rental package for lesson participants in this age group.
